Who Runs the Lab
An independent shelf of psychology experiments, built by people who can't stop asking "why did I just do that?"
Our idea
Most people meet psychology through viral claims: power poses, 21-day habits, left-brained personalities. Some are true, some are half-true and some quietly collapsed years ago. We wanted a place where curious readers could feel a finding for themselves first, then learn where it came from and how well it has held up.
So we built a shelf. Each concept is an object you pick up: a puzzle, a word list, a moment to watch the people in a lift. Then we hand you the study behind it.
How we work
- Original sources first. We read the papers and books we cite, not just summaries of them.
- Replication status matters. When a famous result has failed to replicate or been seriously criticised, we say so in a clearly marked research check.
- Numbers stay accurate. Percentages, sample sizes and dates come from the original publications.
- No diagnoses. Our experiments are for curiosity, never for labelling yourself or others.
- Independent. We are not affiliated with any university, clinic or publisher mentioned on the site, and we don't accept paid placements in articles.
Who we are
Pandavikrhythmfx is published by Pandavik Rhythm FX Media Ltd, a small UK-based editorial company. Our writers have backgrounds in psychology, science journalism and teaching, and every article is reviewed by a second team member before publication. We update pages when new research changes the picture.
A gentle reminder: this site is educational. If you are going through a difficult time, please reach out to a qualified professional or your local health service.
